My Brief History

I graduated from Walla Walla University in 1989 with a degree in Physical Education. I proceeded to teach for the next 10 year at different schools in California.
I have taught Kindergarten through 12th grade. Some-days switching from High-school students to lower elementary students in a moment. (Shoot me now) LOL it was fun and interesting.

I started coaching in the early 80's, youth soccer. One of those "your in PE, please coach my........for me" Knowing nothing about soccer and being young in charge of 6,7 and 8 years old kids was tough. I coached consistently throughout the 90's, mostly basketball, and some volleyball. I started my own business in 1998, while teaching at Orangewood Academy. I built wake-board towers for the wake-board industry, I named the business "Phatbudde". Thus everything seems to have "PHAT" in it. The business grew fast and by mid year 2000 I decided to stop teaching and run Phatbudde full time. I was at a point where I could not teach and run a business effectively, so I figured that if my business failed I could always go back to teaching. WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the economy demise did my business in as well as possible teaching positions, Finding a teaching job in Physical Education now in nearly impossible. I started coaching girls high school Volleyball again in 2005 and am currently subbing in the Alvord School District. Along with parting out Corvettes I can stay fairly busy.

I am married to Molly Bell and have been for the last 21 years. I have 2 children, my son is 11 and my daughter is 15, and has her driving permit. Pray for me................

That is all for now.

Ridge Camp 2010

I spent a wonderful 5 days with 65 other individuals dedicated to the sport of volleyball. Camp director Keith Perrin was fantastic and a real pleasure to work with. The camp was run out of Mountain Ridge High School in AZ.. Facilities were 2nd to none. There were so many wonderful moments that I could write a book about it. So I am going to list just a few.

HIGHLIGHTS

The participants were excellent examples of positive character under even the most demanding moments.
Every participants skill level improved.
There was a feeling of family and cooperation from all.

The worst part of camp was it had to end. Thus the saying "All good things must end."
